Quatrac 5 by Vredestein is the asymmetrical premium all season tyre with dry and snowy sections. The dry-road cornering outer section has larger and firmer blocks. The inner wet-road section has more open channels with denser fine slits for water and snow removal. Vredestein’s 3D Sipe Technology is responsible for keeping the blocks shape on wet and snowy road surface, while the Full Silica Compound is created for better flexibility at low temperatures.
The Quatrac 5 is the successor of the Quatrac 3 and has the 3PMSF marking on its sidewall. These tyres are proven to comply with the snow traction requirements as they have the appropriate marking.
