The Sunny NC501 is a low-cost summer tyre aimed at everyday driving, shuttle runs, and boot road travel in the drier parts of the UK. It features a ribbed centre section designed to help maintain line stability at high speeds. It includes broad and continuous centre ribs, with outer rings and surface channels to help manage aquaplaning, and edge blocks for cornering stability.
As a summer tyre, the NC501 is suited to passenger car operation in the warmth of late spring and summer when temperatures exceed approximately 7 degrees Celsius. Its urban road optimisation provides a cushioning effect against small surface road undulations to enhance passenger comfort and promote uniform tread wear provided proper tyre inflation and wheel alignment is maintained.
