Designed for cars, rather than vans, 4x4s or commercial vehicles.
Designed for temperatures below 7°C. Summer tyre rubber hardens in the cold and loses grip, while a winter compound stays soft and holds the road in cold, wet and snowy conditions.
The Sailun Ice Blazer WSL2 winter tyre features a directional tread pattern that helps it manage water and slush during cold, wet, and snowy conditions. To assist its one-way design, there are grooves that transit from the centre of the tread to the outer edge, helping water exit the tread pattern. Slits of various widths are dispersed densely throughout the tread of the tyre, adding biting edges when the tread encounters snow and ice. They are designed to increase the number of edges due to their close spacing.
The directional arrow that indicates the rolling direction of the tyre, influences the snow and slush routing path throughout the grooves. Slits of varying width and spacing in the tread block assist the snow and ice covered roads edge while the wheel turns. The Sailun Ice Blazer WSL2 is available at Tyres.co.uk.
