The Rydanz Roadster R02S is a high-performance summer tyre designed to clear water from its tread. This tyre features a silica compound to optimise wet and dry traction. It has an asymmetric tread with wide grooves running front to back and rapidly directs water away from the contact patch. Additionally, the R02S features a dense array of ultra-fine slits on its surface to provide even more pathways for water to escape the tread.
Collectively, the water movement through the tread and out of contact with the road surface helps to minimise aquaplaning.
