The Rotalla RU01 is a summer tyre for SUVs designed to remove surface water with an asymmetric tread for tarmacked surfaces. A solid central band aids straight-line driving at speed. The cornering performance is helped by the larger outer blocks. Water is directed away by grooves that stretch from the front to the back of the tyre and combined with channel slits to provide water evacuation. The slits provide traction on damp surfaces.

The tread design helps to reduce the road noise that generates during regular driving. Rotalla claims the sturdy design helps to maintain the tread shape and supports the casing during load, which in turn helps to maintain even tread wear. Tyres.co.uk sells the Rotalla RU01.
