Cargo Tyres description & features

The Riken Cargo is a summer tyre for commercial use. It is designed for maximum water drainage and is built to withstand cyclic loads found in commercial use. The Riken Cargo uses three wide grooves to move water and mud away from the tyre. The ribs run the entire circumference of the tyre to distribute the tread along the surface of the road. The running surface is made from a rubber compound that is resistant to wear and tear to withstand the punishment of working for long distances.

The Riken Cargo is designed for commercial use and has the load index and speed rating printed on the sidewalls to match the requirements of the vehicles they will be mounted to. The Cargo is designed for use in temperatures above about 7 degrees. Tyres.co.uk has the Riken Cargo in stock.

These tyres outperform my old noisy Vavaro and seem like they'll last longer. As long as you drive sensibly, the tyres will grip the road and maintain control while driving in the rain. Nothing is unexpected with normal driving.

I put these on my van in the spring and I have been disappointed with them. The tread has gone down far quicker than the set I had on before, and I only do local runs with a light load. They are noisy once you get up to motorway speed and the ride feels harder than it should. In the wet the back end feels loose when the van is empty, which I never had with the old tyres. For the money I expected a good deal more life out of them. I would not buy them again.

The tyres are doing a great job. There is slightly more noise from the road because of the grip and tread design, but it is not too annoying. They have good handling on different terrains; we did a fair amount of off-road camping, and so far, no problems.

I just got six new Riken tyres. I keep the front pair at 55 psi and the rear pairs 50 psi. The ride is noticeably smoother and more precise than what I had on the bus before. I would certainly purchase them again.

Honestly, I'm pretty terrified! I might have to get two more tyres next month. They screech and squeal when I go around a corner at even 10mph. They have NO grip whatsoever. AVOID THIS TYRE BRAND.
