The Pirelli Scorpion Zero is an advanced summer SUV tyre emphasising on-road steering precision. The asymmetric tread helps to provide control at the edge of the tyre throughout the tread. The Scorpion Zero’s design contains vertical and horizontal grooves to move water from the contact patch, as well as a tread design that minimises block movement to help with the control of road noise and vibration.

Pirelli Scorpion Zeros marked with N0 on the sidewall are approved by Porsche and are made specifically for Porsche; those without the mark most likely just fit Porsche’s wheel requirements. Scorpion Zeros with the BMW star mark are made to BMW’s requirements, and if a vehicle has either mark, then that part of the vehicle is in the approved manufacturer specification. Having done my homework, coupled with reading the guidance of respected motoring journalists like Harry Metcalfe, I chose these tyres. They are performing exceptionally well and are virtually silent on the road. I have used off-road, and they also performed excellently in the mud. I am confident that they will perform excellently when it snows. Although these tyres are not the cheapest, I will consider it a good investment if they last three years. I know I shouldn't, but I really like the way they look. In my opinion, these are the best looking tyres.

These tyres have gone above and beyond what I expected. I have never had a case of slipping in wet conditions, and even when I had to brake suddenly in the rain, I did not experience any skidding. I found these tyres to be perfectly adequate in three inches of snow also.

Best option for big Shoguns, these on/off-road tyres have an approximate mileage of 26,000 miles. They excel on-road, can handle mild off-road paths, and do not struggle with wet grass and light mud.

The Discovery comes with Pirelli Scorpion default tyres. These perform well on all types of roads (I can't vouch for off-road performance), and overall, they are a good choice for the vehicle.

I've travelled around 2000 miles with these new tyres. They are good in the rain and on dry roads and are much quieter than my last set. For the all-around use I recommend them, and for the ease of purchasing tyres, I would buy from Tyres.co.uk again without a second thought.
