Pirelli’s Cinturato P1 Verde summer tyre is designed for compact city cars and can optimise the challenges of the urban environment, like the stop-start traffic, with ecology in mind. For that reason, Pirelli focused on lower rolling resistance and drainage from the tread. There are three continuous grooves in the tyre and lateral channels to assist in drainage. Pirelli’s super slender slits on the surface play with the vertical dimension to assist in gripping on damp surfaces. The outer blocks are rigid to assist in the P1 Verde’s cornering capability. The material composition and structure of the P1 Verde even promotes ecological concerns through the impressive reduction in the mass of the tyre and reduced rolling resistance.

Run-flat versions of the P1 Verde are designed to be driven on even after a puncture. If you need to replace one of your BMW’s Pirelli’s (tyres), look for the tyres with the BMW star marking on the sidewall. It indicates that tyre was manufactured to the specification of BMW.
