The Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF2 is a premium all-season car tyre designed to prioritise both wet-road and snow performance even as the tyre wears. It uses a V-shaped tread with zigzag central grooves that direct water away from the contact patch. The SF2 uses fine 3D sipes that create biting edges in cold, damp conditions. As the sipes wear, they continually open to create more edges.

The reinforced sidewalls some versions come with allow for Continue Driving after pressure loss. Puncture sealing versions also use a reinforced sidewall to close holes in the tread. I have experienced different road conditions with the Pirelli Cinturato tyres, including wet, dry, icy, and muddy. They provide excellent grip and fuel economy even with my big engine. They are also great for cornering and bends. They give an excellent road feel and amazing harmonisation with the vehicle. I also appreciate the road feel and give precise and responsive control.

These are without a doubt the best tyres for my all-wheel-drive performance car, come rain or shine. I feel safe driving with the family and in emergencies I can rely on the tyres to perform exceptionally in very wet conditions. I feel I can stop safely.

Over the course of our holiday, we went 2000 miles to Switzerland at high speeds (100mph) on the Autobahn, navigated through tight mountain roads, and drove through rain. I feel justified in my decision as the tyres provide so much reassurance when it comes to braking in the wet, especially when the car is fully loaded.
