The Nankang NA-1 is a summer passenger car tyre designed to enhance safety whilst driving on wet roads. It features four main circumferential grooves designed to evacuate water from the contact patch. During braking or cornering, the fine slits that cross the grooves come into contact with the damp road providing additional grip. The NA-1 is designed to provide high speed stability on the motorway.

The tyre design serves to reduce road noise. The tread blocks are spaced at different intervals and a specific pitch sequence. The NA-1 comes in higher load ratings for heavier passenger cars. The sidewall marking of the tyre will indicate the load rating for the intended vehicle. The Nankang NA-1 is available at Tyres.co.uk.

They ran for only 16 months and 8,000 miles. The entire tread on the tyres has cracked. It's frustrating to have to replace them this quickly. I already had to change the front tyres since they had no grip during wet conditions.
