Designed for commercial vans, the Nankang CX-668 summer tyre is prepared for the repetition of stop-and-go behaviour and the higher loads of working vehicles, with a water-clearing tread design for urban and motorway traffic for the UK’s spring to autumn seasons, and is effective for summer traffic. The CX-668 has wide grooves that run circumferentially and cross channels that help remove water from the road contact patch. A rib running the centre of the tread pattern aids in the tracking of the vehicle for driving on the motorway. The tread design utilised rib and block combinations to aid the outer edge in load support for braking and steering.

The CX-668 Commercial tyre is constructed to handle the everyday bumps and high-mileage use, while the tread design helps CX-668 to maintain even pressure for an extended tread life. While these tyres may handle all weather conditions, they do lack in the speed and cornering department. It makes me think of driving with cross ply tyres. The only reason I chose these Nankang tyres is because they were the only brand with my vintage car size, but I'd love for other brands to make them again.
