The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 blends essential features for an ultra-high-performance all-season tyre, working effectively with the intricacies of dry-road and cold-weather driving. The tyre is built with a tread compound that remains flexible at lower temperatures. Sunflower oil is infused in the tyre with Michelin’s Helio+ Technology to help with cold weather driving. Its asymmetric tread pattern features front to back grooves to reduce aquaplaning with larger outer edge tread blocks to help with cornering. The tread is supported with Dynamic Response Technology, which features a hybrid belt made of aramid and nylon to help transmit steering commands.

The Pilot Sport A/S 4 is Michelin’s newest upgrade to its ultra-high-performance all-season tyre line after the Pilot Sport A/S 3+. The Pilot Sport A/S 4 is said to outperform competitors in cold weather driving by providing 29% better driving snow traction after internal snow testing conducted by Michelin.
