Product description & features

The Michelin Latitude Tour HP employs Comfort Control Technology for SUV specific touring tyres. It aims to reduce vibration and noise on paved roads. This tyre uses a silica tread rubber with a symmetric pattern and four wide longitudinal grooves with lateral channels to move water from under the tread. A continuous centre rib aids driving and an independent block structure on the outer edge aids cornering.

MaxTouch Construction from Michelin gives the tyre a shape where braking, acceleration and cornering forces are distributed across the tread. A ZP version offers a tyre with sidewalls that support the SUV after a loss of pressure for a limited distance at a reduced speed. The Michelin Latitude Tour HP, including ZP runflat versions, is available at Tyres.co.uk.

Highlights

  • Silica tread rubber
  • Symmetric tread with four wide grooves

They performed excellent, I drove 2000 miles in the first week of fitting and there was no visible wear, and they were very quiet on the motorway.

As I expected, it has a nice grip and is relatively quiet. I still have not been able to test out any wet braking.
