Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate+ 175/65R14 86H XL
I've had these tyres on my car for four and a half years, and I had them on my Ford Fiesta before that. I live in Scotland where it is always very wet so I prefer all season tyres. I find them much better than summer tyres in the rain. Even with a small car, I do not have a problem with aquaplaning when driving through standing water. The rear tyres are quite worn now, and I have noticed some loss of grip when driving the car hard even though Michelin says that their tyres are supposed to perform well even when they reach the legal tread limit. This tyre replaced a similar one that was worn down to the legal limit, and I have driven 44,000 miles on it which means it was time to change it (I have 8,000 miles from the rear of my old Fiesta and the rest from the front of my Celerio). I don't use them in snow these days but they used to perform brilliantly.
