Product description & features

The Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport is an all-season tyre designed to provide an authentic sportscar feel of direct steering throughout the seasons, and it’s also certified for driving in severe winter conditions with 3PMSF. The tyre features a directional V-shaped tread that is designed with channels that widen towards the outer edge and facilitate the removal of water from the tread pattern. Dynamic Response Technology uses a hybrid aramid and nylon belt to provide the tyre with shape under the forces of changing steering.

The CrossClimate 3 Sport is equipped with the Thermal Adaptive Tread Compound 2.0 which allows the tyre to perform in the varying temperature conditions that an all-season tyre may encounter. The sidewall of the tyre features the 3PMSF marking which indicates that the tyre has met the required standards for driving on snow. Alpine has chosen the CrossClimate 3 Sport as the original equipment fitment on the A390 Electric Sports Fastback. Tyres.co.uk is proud to offer the Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport.

I'm sure they will perform well in snow as they perform excellently in both dry and wet conditions.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport 245/40R19 98Y XL
These tyres are performing exceptionally well regardless of the weather conditions. During the recent cold spell, they maintained their grip exceptionally well. I have not yet tested them on snow or ice, but they are impressive in warm, cold and wet conditions, as well as everything in between.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport 245/40R19 98Y XL
I've now had the opportunity to evaluate these tyres on my rear-wheel-drive Mercedes E-Class Estate S213 in a variety of weather conditions, just like they claim. I just got back from a Euro road trip totaling almost 4,000 miles while going through pretty much every type of weather including heavy rain and snowstorms. These tyres were amazing and, even at speed on the German autobahns, I always felt safe and in control. For me, the handling is as good as the premium summer UHP tyres I had before (ie. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, Michelin Primacy 3 MOE). On top of that, they give outstanding traction on dry surfaces, in rain, and in snow, which is above and beyond what I expected. Michelin continues to provide the absolute best. If they fit your vehicle, buy them. I'm done with the headache of swapping summer and winter tyres, these are perfect for year-round use.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport 245/40R19 98Y XL
Great performance with these tyres in wet conditions. They also do a great job on dry road surface. I haven't tested in snowy conditions, but I have used them on slightly icy roads and I still felt confident leaning into corners.

They feel better than most other tyres. Great grip on the road. I'm really happy with my decision.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 3 Sport 245/40R19 98Y XL
I give these tyres an average score because the sidewalls are way too soft to provide adequate protection for my Cupra's wheels. I've been driving for many years and have always been meticulous when parking, however, I have been unfortunate enough to scrape my wheels two times since these tyres have been fitted. I had Bridgestones for three years and didn't have to deal with that issue, so this must be down to the design of the CrossClimate 3 Sport over the Bridgestones. My old CEO's climates were on a Kia and had firmer sidewalls. I have no doubt that the ride and handling is excellent, but I really do regret buying these tyres.
