Product description & features

The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is an all-season tyre designed for optimum year-round performance for dry, wet, or snowy braking situations. Featuring a directional V-shaped tread with 3PMSF certification, CrossClimate 2 utilises shoulder channeling to expel water from beneath the tyre, while self-locking snow cutting slits form snow traction edges. Michelin’s innovation, Thermal Adaptive Tread, stays flexible with winter slush to optimise the snow cutting edges.

Launched in 2021, the CrossClimate 2 is the successor to the CrossClimate+. According to Michelin, the new design pattern has been optimised to evacuate 10% more water. Crimped edges on the sidewall of the CrossClimate 2 indicate snow traction which meets the requirements of winter tyre regulations and standards. Tyres.co.uk currently carries the Michelin CrossClimate 2.

Highlights

  • All-season tyre

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 215/60R16 95V
I bought these tyres to go to the Alps in the winter, I have them on my car now, and they are great in the rain! What caught me off guard the most was how much more pleasant these are to drive than the typical Campervan Michelin Agilis tyres, it is a massive difference. I have done some light snow driving with them and there were no issues with snow, so I would imagine they would be fine in heavier snow too. Solid buy.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 215/60R16 95V
They are satisfactory and provide a strong grip. I've driven with them during snow and heavy rain and I felt safe. I haven't really tested them in dry conditions.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 215/60R16 95V
Amazing! A lot quieter than my old Bridgestones. I just fitted the Cross Climates. Superb in bad weather. I just used a grassy bit where loads of cars got stuck. These all season tyres are excellent, and I drove off without any issues.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 215/60R16 95V
The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is an outstanding alternative to the original Michelin Pilot Sports. Performance in dry conditions is balanced with an exceptional grip in wet and cold conditions. I will definitely choose these for this car and others.
