Product description & features

The Michelin CrossClimate 2 is an all-season tyre designed for optimum year-round performance for dry, wet, or snowy braking situations. Featuring a directional V-shaped tread with 3PMSF certification, CrossClimate 2 utilises shoulder channeling to expel water from beneath the tyre, while self-locking snow cutting slits form snow traction edges. Michelin’s innovation, Thermal Adaptive Tread, stays flexible with winter slush to optimise the snow cutting edges.

Launched in 2021, the CrossClimate 2 is the successor to the CrossClimate+. According to Michelin, the new design pattern has been optimised to evacuate 10% more water. Crimped edges on the sidewall of the CrossClimate 2 indicate snow traction which meets the requirements of winter tyre regulations and standards. Tyres.co.uk currently carries the Michelin CrossClimate 2.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 185/65R15 88H
These tyres provide better feedback through the steering wheel and give more confidence with grip in the wet. They're on my Audi A3 FWD which struggled in the snow with Continental tyres, but these cross-climates are brilliant in the snow so I would recommend them without hesitation.

They're almost at the legal tread limit now, so I'll need to replace them soon, I estimate 2 years or 20,000 miles is about the norm.

This product drives smoothly and doesn't groove the road anymore. It is also quiet and works well in cold conditions.

These tyres are great for my electric vehicle. They are quiet and their all-weather capabilities go with the car's quiet operation.

I am very happy with how these performed in the snow and rain. I would recommend these Michelin all season tyres; they are worth it.

You did a great job. The vehicle is also running a lot smoother and is much quieter. I will have to wait to see how it does for grip during the winter and how the tread wears down.

Tyre review for Michelin CrossClimate 2 185/65R15 88H
I have only three of the original tyres remaining because one had an irreparable puncture. The tyre model has since been updated, but the ones I have handled summer trips from the south-east of the UK to the west coast of Ireland brilliantly, coping with all road types. I noticed no drop in performance in hot weather. I'd compare them to the OE Continental tyres, if not better. In the colder months they've also been reliable, although I have not tried them in snow.

Better handling overall than the tyres that came with the car and excellent grip in inclement weather.
