Product description & features

The Michelin Agilis CrossClimate is an all-season light-commercial tyre designed to optimise the performance of working vans in wet, cold, and slightly snowy conditions. It has 3PMSF (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) winter classification. Michelin Agilis CrossClimate has V-shaped tread that features grooves that meet at the centre and taper outward to the edges of the tyre to assist in the channeling of water out from underneath the tyre. Michelin has also claimed that the CrossClimate uses a tread compound from their truck tyres, and is designed to resist wear from their frequent stop-start delivery work. The CrossClimate also has Kerb Shields, in which a reinforced strip of rubber is used on the sidewall near the rim, to assist in resisting sidewall damage from impacting the kerb.

This tyre was launched as Michelin’s very first summer van tyre with 3PMSF certification. The sidewall symbol indicates that the tyre has passed the regulated winter certification snow-grip test. Michelin's Agilis CrossClimate 2 is the next generation in the line of Commercial Tyres. At Tyres.co.uk, we have Michelin Agilis CrossClimate in stock.

Tyre review for Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 215/60R17 109T
Operates effectively year-round across all types of roads in Europe and the UK. It's particularly quiet and efficient, but most importantly, it offers stability and strong grip.

I have all-season tyres for my camper van that I also use every day. I wonder how they will wear over time.

Tyre review for Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 215/60R17 109T
These have been fitted to my campervan (2015 VW T5), which has a weight of 2490kg unladen. They have covered approximately 10,000 miles and show little signs of wear. Granted, it's not my sporty car, but the improvement in wet grip and overall driving comfort is very noticeable with the Agilis CrossClimate tyres. I have previously felt as though I could have got stuck in wet and muddy situations, but these have changed that. There is no additional noise and my fuel consumption (which I track with an app) is exactly the same compared to when I had normal summer tyres. I have not had the snow opportunity yet. However, I have previously had CrossClimate 2's on my car plus I've driven ambulances with Agilis CrossClimates. Because of this, I have no doubt they will perform excellently.
