The Kumho PorTran KC53 is designed for vans that make delivery runs with frequent stop and go. It has a reinforced casing and sturdy sidewalls to deal with the weight of a delivery van and contact with the kerb. The design incorporates wide grooves along the tread to deal with water and reduce aquaplaning. There are also blocks along the outer edge to assist with cornering and lane changes. There are narrow slits in the tread to assist with traction on damp roads.

The Kumho PorTran KC53 is available in the most common light-commercial sizes. This tyre is intended for use in warm weather on UK roads. Its construction is designed for the typical delivery run which include repeated stops in an urban setting, along motorways, and deal with a variety of loads and stop and go delivery traffic. The difference was immediate after fitting the Kumho PortTran KC53 tyres. The noise levels are significantly reduced and it feels much more stable on the road. I have been able to do some long trips without any fatigue. In terms of cost and performance, I definitely think I made the right choice. I have had positive experiences with Kumho before and was expecting these to be the same, and they did not disappoint.
