The Kumho HS63 is designed for modern passenger vehicles, this asymmetric summer tyre features tread design for dealing with standing water, and cornering precision. You can find open inner tread for the removal of water, and an outer shoulder for cornering. Straight grooves, along with lateral grooves, help to remove water from the tread. Outer blocks support cornering of the vehicle and the centre blocks of the tread help with steering and keeping the vehicle in line.
Tyres with the reinforced XL construction have increased load capabilities, and that construction is noted with XL on the sidewall. HS63, like many asymmetric tyres, have inner and outer tread design, and must be fitted in the tyre orientation marked on the tyre; otherwise the tread design for water removal and cornering will be ineffective.
