Product description & features

The Kumho Ecsta PS91 is a max-performance summer tyre that controls tread temperature for high speed driving. Kumho's 3D Dimple Design creates recesses in the tread that dissipate heat and improve performance. The PS91 is equipped with C-Cut 3D Block Design that keeps the shoulder of the tyre intact while cornering. The Ecsta PS91 features 4 wide circumferential grooves that draw water away from the contact patch. The tread features a racing compound that improves performance in dry conditions and enhances braking in wet and warmer conditions.

To aid the driver with tread wear, the Kumho Ecsta PS91 is designed with a tread wear indicator in the shape of a checkered flag. In addition, the PS91 features a solid centre rib for improved control and stability at motorway speeds. This feature along with the tread pattern is the reason the PS91 has a motorsport and performance oriented design. Here at Tyres.co.uk, we supply the Kumho Ecsta PS91.

Highlights

  • Wide grooves for water clearing
  • Solid centre rib for stability
  • Checkered flag wear indicator

Tyre review for Kumho Ecsta PS91 245/45R18 100Y XL
The tyres are great, very quiet, and provide good grip in dry and wet conditions. Considering the performance, they offer brilliant value for money. They may be made of a softer material and Therefore they may not last as long as the original tyres but overall, I am really happy.

While the tyres are okay, I prefer the KU39s that I previously had on my car.

They appear to be quieter than my previous pair and the grip is nice. At 73, I'm not rushing about these days.
