The Kumho Ecsta HS51 is the summer tyre with the best designed drainage system for wet roads. Water is drained using 4 grooves that run from the front of the tyre to the back. There is a solid centre rib that runs through the pattern and provides a continuous braking and steering surface. Kumho has designed a 3D block that provides flexibility in the tyre when going through sharp corners, whilst also incorporating a silica grip for great traction on both wet and dry roads.
The Ecsta HS52 is now the newer design to replace the HS51. Some sizes of the HS51 also have the XL sidewall mark and reinforced XL construction, providing an even great load capacity, for larger specified tyres. Here at Tyres.co.uk we have the regular and reinforced XL versions of the Kumho Ecsta HS51.
