Kenda KR101s are summer road tyres designed for passenger cars that prioritise driving convenience in warmer and milder climates. KR101s have designed treads that help eliminate standing water from the road-adjacent surfaces of the tyres. Their treads feature a plethora of round grooves that connect with open channel striations across the tyre face to facilitate water drainage. This provides high stability during braking and cornering because the blocks stay in place. Edge sections of the blocks are designed to stay in place when changing directions.
The tread pattern helps the KR101s maintain a smooth ride and quiet operation by controlling the noise and texture at cruising speed. Durable rubber compounds reduce rolling resistance.
