Standing water poses a risk for traction and safety in the winter when driving. The Journey WR068 has a directional tread and wide front to back grooves that aid in the removal of water from the tread and create stability for braking even in the pouring rain. The tread block incorporates thin slits that unevenly distribute the block surface and provide additional grasp for the block when in motion and when turning on slick wintry surfaces. The tyre compound also aids in the tyres ability to maintain a responsive feel and control when the temperature is lower.
The casing of the Journey WR068 aids in the even distribution of the load across the surface when it contacts the ground. This helps the tyre control it's wear evenly over time.
