The Hilo Genesys XP1 is a passenger-car tyre featuring an asymmetric tread that provides dry and wet performance. It features deep tread grooves that allow water to bypass the contact patch for improved traction in flooding. Slits across the tread provide additional edges for wet traction and an arrangement in the sequence of the tread pitches minimises road noise.

The tread wears evenly throughout its life and provides a longer life span for the tyre. The construction also focuses on fuel economy. Tyres.co.uk offers the Hilo Genesys XP1.

Since the old ones needed to be swapped out, I had these tyres fitted to my 1975 HJ Holden ute to pass inspection. These tyres are very cheap, so I expected to perform the minimum of getting the vehicle back on the road. To my surprise, they far exceeded my expectations. Driving the vehicle is completely different, and feels like a new car. No matter the speed, the tyres offer safety and comfort, even great handling in the wet and dry. The steering is positioned well, and there is confidence built with a little road noise. What started as a necessary purchase has been one of the best value purchases I've made. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat, and recommend them to people looking for cheap tyres, as their performance, comfort and quality is amazing for the price.
