Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3 SUV (K127A) is an SUV summer tyre focused on performance and designed for safe and effective braking in wet conditions, maintaining its shape at speed, thanks to interlocking grooves and a reinforced carcass. Linear grooves interlock with angled grooves to provide drainage paths in wet conditions. Hankook's Aqua Pine focuses on a resin and oil based compound to provide flexibility in varied climates. The sidewalls are reinforced with a 2-ply rayon carcass and reinforced with an aramid hybrid to restrict growth at high speeds (300km/h) with centrifugal forces.
The continuous centre rib contributes to the steering response while stiff blocks along the corner support the load. It is placed in Hankook's performance SUV line after the Ventus S1 evo 2 SUV.
