The Hankook Ventus Prime 4 K135A is a summer SUV tyre focused on wet-road braking. Stand-up water is cleared on this tyre by the front-to-back grooves in the tread. Bracing blocks along the side of the tread hold the tyre together while cornering. Braking makes the blocks slide against each other. 3D Tread Technology uses slits in the blocks to help braking. These slits are made by the sliding blocks, and the grip is augmented by the tread design and the rubber compound.

The K135A is the SUV version of the Summer tyre, while the K135 is the version designed for passenger vehicles. Hankook claims that the passenger vehicle version has an improved mileage compound and that this SUV version has an improved mileage compound, giving it an advantage of 20% increased mileage over its predecessor. I have always preferred Michelin tyres but I price them out now. Given the distance I drive now, these will do just as well as any brand. These were put on my car by VW, so they know what they're doing. If I had to choose other brands, from my experience driving for over 50 years and working in the motor trade for a couple of years, my preference would be Continental, although they are extremely pricey, or Bridgestone.

Regardless of adverse driving conditions, e.g., rain, snow, etc., they have proven to be of good quality. I've driven about 12,000 miles on this set of tyres and I estimate that the front tyres have about 15,000 miles left to go, and the rears should go well beyond 25,000 miles. The only negative about them is that they can be a bit loud. I would still consider buying these tyres again.

The tyres are good in wet weather and are quiet. I have purchased two sets of these tyres and have monitored the pressure, but both sets have developed uneven wear, with the edges having less tread than the middle. Therefore I have to change them, even though there is still some usable tread on the other parts of the tyres. Other brands may have greater initial tread depth than these tyres. I will probably select a different brand in the future.

I was able to test the tyres in both wet and dry conditions firsthand. The difference was evident immediately. Stopping power and handling is on another level, I feel significantly more confident. These tyres are well worth the investment when you compare them to other tyres you've had. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I've been using the Hankook DH51 tyres for a few months now and they're amazing. The grip in dry and wet conditions is very good. The mileage seems decent, can't complain there. Would recommend tons of people.
