The Hankook Ventus Prime 2 (K115) focuses on summer performance for handling and braking on wet roads. Hankook uses GripTech to design a tread that generates additional biting edges when the tyre is loaded in a turn. The asymmetric tread design uses four straight grooves complemented by larger block edge water clearing and dry road steering supportive outer edge. The high silica tread compound fine tunes the tyre for damp surfaces and provides lower rolling resistance. The blocks are designed with a Jaguar tooth for their braking performance 3D shape inspiration.

The Ventus Prime 2 is the successor of the Ventus Prime K105 and is the predecessor of the Ventus Prime 3 K125. XL construction is reinforced and available for specific higher load sizes. We offer the Hankook Ventus Prime 2 (K115) for you at Tyres.co.uk.

As expected, the durability and road grip of these tyres are excellent. I have driven from Scotland to Land's End whilst towing a caravan and the tyres had no issues. They still have 10,000 to 12,000 miles of life left.

Tyre received early failure diagnosis, and was show cut and puncture resistance issues, deformity, and was deemed to be too early discarded. Hankook was disappointing.

I have a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, now 9 years old, and it's always had Hankook Ventus Prime2 225/60 R17 V (99) tyres. I've always had confidence in these tyres for all weather conditions. I've also had excellent mileage and wear with these tyres, and I don't bother with any other brands or types now. I replaced the front pair after 80,000 miles, then replaced all four, and recently replaced the front two again at 79,000 miles. For my car and me, these are the only tyres worth using.
