The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 uses a V-Shape tread pattern to quickly and efficiently disperse standing water, with Grooves along the tread to assist in transporting water and retaining grip on snow and ice. With 3PMSF snow performance certification, the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 delivers great all season performance. With regards to ice and snow, Goodyear says, “Our Snow Grip Technology helps keep you in control with precise biting edges.”. The centre blocks of the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 are spaced closely together with small slits in each to assist with traction on snow.

The Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is the successor of the Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 in the Goodyear all-season collection. An added XL construction is available for the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 to cater to consumers with cars requiring higher loads. The tyres are fairly quiet and have good wet handling. I have yet to test them in the snow, but I anticipate they will have better performance than the summer ones I had before.

There is nothing to be worried about when driving in wet winter conditions. I have only lost traction once, and while that was an awful experience, I have never lost grip since. My winter tyres have always managed to handle snow and frost.

Excellent. The tread is still in great condition and the grip is noteworthy considering I fitted them on the drive wheels.
