The Goodyear UltraGrip Performance 3s are winter tyres great for snow and wet surfaces. Goodyear’s Snow Protect Technology utilises tyre tread with grooves to form snow- biting edges. Water and slush are channeled away from the tread to prevent slipping with aquaplaning.

The UltraGrip Performance 3s are 3rd generation tyres and take place of the Goodyear UltraGrip Performance+ tyres. The 3PMSF and M+S markings indicate that the tyre meets the snow traction requirements and the mud and snow requirements, respectively, of the industry standard. Goodyear claims the Performance 3s brake 4% and 3% shorter in wet and snow conditions, respectively, compared to their former model. I had these fitted by a local garage that I trust and the process was pretty simple. They made sure everything was balanced. There was an immediate difference, it was really smooth and the grip on corners and brakes was better straight away.
