The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport R is a legal tyre for use on the road, with endurance for track use built for summer conditions. The SuperSport R incorporates a racing tyre tread for sprint and endurance racing for high-performance road cars. The SuperSport R incorporates an asymmetric tread design, with large tread blocks on the outer shoulder to support the tyre during cornering. A longitudinal rib on the inner shoulder provides rapid, precise steering response, and a water evacuation groove makes the tyre usable in wet conditions. Goodyear’s RacePro compound is a racing compound that incorporates a high-friction rubber compound for repeated use on dry tarmacked surfaces.

The Eagle F1 SuperSport R is built for road use, while the R version is for track use. Certain version of the SuperSport R incorporate N0 on the sidewall, meaning that tyre is Porsche’s approved replacement for the specified Original Equipment, meaning that they were built to Porsche’s specification.
