The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 is a summer tyre focused on improving performance during wet conditions with an innovative asymmetric design. Goodyear claims that the innovation is that the design allows the rubber to hammer tiny bits of the wet road, increasing contact, and therefore, friction. It is also designed to guide the water away from the centre grooves to improve dry performance. The outer edge of the design has large blocks that provide support when cornering.

The Asymmetric 6 replaced the Asymmetric 5 in 2022. Goodyear also claims that their SoundComfort Technology are tyre inserts made of polyurethane that help absorb and lower the noise caused by the air moving in and out of the tyre. Tyres.co.uk sells the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, SoundComfort editions included.

I used to think the Pilot Sport 5 and Nankang NS-2R were great, but they've been outshined. Steering feels much more responsive and you get a solid feel through the wheel. Grip feels really nice and confident in all conditions. What really surprised me was tread wear, still looks nice and healthy after a good number of miles. I would rate these very highly.
