Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 2) 225/40R18 92W XL
These tyres are generally underwhelming. They struggle with performance on all cold and slippery surfaces and don't perform well where the tarmac is smooth. They work well enough in wet conditions though. Other BMW drivers are saying the asymmetric 5 is way better than the 2. Runflat tyres are stiffer than normal ones and so are grip wise worse under load. If you drive a BMW and have any knowledge of cars, the majority will suggest ditching the runflats for normal tyres and putting a puncture repair kit in the glovebox. I would advise the same.
