Product description & features

The Goodyear DuraGrip is a summer tyre designed for less fuel use and longer mileage. Its tread is designed for a more even wear and it incorporates a rubber compound with silica. Its tread design is an asymmetric pattern. The design incorporates stiff outer corner blocks and wide centre ribs. The ribs help with the steering response. The casing design adds support to the sidewalls and the tread design aids with the steering.

The DuraGrip is an older tyre that was eventually replaced by the EfficientGrip Compact in the Goodyear summer tyre range. Goodyear claims the design requires less energy to roll and improves even wear over time to aid with the long mileage aspect. At Tyres.co.uk, we sell the Goodyear DuraGrip.

The tyres seem to be doing well. But sadly, the garage took a long time - two hours - to set them up and also made a mistake with the TPMS!

Good I found a more competitive price at a nearby store since buying. Next time I need new tyres I'll check local stores first!

I travelled to Brussels after I got these tyres and noticed how different the weather was from home. The stability and stopping distance with these tyres were exceptional. The GoodYear tyres made my car feel more secure and comfortable.

Tyre review for Goodyear DuraGrip 185/65R15 92T XL
The front tyres provide a better road feel already. The front tyres also tend to wear faster on my car. These are good tyres, so I'm hoping to see good wear, performance, and value. Usually I wear out three front tyres to a pair of rear tyres. For what it's worth, the way the car is built tends to wear out the front tyres more, especially the outer edges. This is even with regular tracking, balancing, and pressure checks. My last car was more enjoyable to drive and similar tyres lasted longer. I even had a couple that did 45,000 miles and still had legal tread left. Oddly enough, I have tried the same brand and model on my main vehicle, a compact 4x4 SUV, and they lasted less than the Pirelli and Continentals.

Absolutely great. They seem to prolong their grip and pressure on the road as opposed to other tyres I've used.
