The Firestone FS492 is a steer axle tyre specifically designed for regional and city buses and trucks. Ribbed treads assist in maintaining a straight path on major motorways and consist of longitudinal and lateral grooves and slits to assist in maintaining traction and provide an edge for braking on wet surfaces. The outer treads are designed to endure repeated use from cornering and roundabouts.
