The Farroad FRD78 summer passenger car tyre is constructed for use on typical roads. It features a solid centre rib which enhances stability for driving in a straight line and aids in steering. Water is displaced from the contact patch on the road by a tread design which incorporates longitudinal grooves. Additional traction on wet roads is provided by micro slits in the tread design.
