The design features wide, longitudinal grooves that assist the HISCEND-H VAN in dealing with surface water in wet conditions. Multiple edges of the tread assist with braking and traction on lateral and longitudinal damp city road surfaces. The design features a solid central rib and asymmetric outer tread blocks that assist straight line tracking and stability respectively, under the demands of motorway driving and lane changing with an on-board load.
The casing is designed for heavy loads and stop-start driving. The design features an alignment and pressure retention system, assisting even wear and shape retention.
