The Dunlop Winter Sport 5 is a premium winter tyre designed for everyday cars and performance-focused hatchbacks, saloons and estates that need dependable control when temperatures drop. With the 3PMSF marking, it’s engineered for cold, wet roads as well as slush and snow, helping you stay confident through typical UK winter driving.

A directional, V-shaped tread pattern helps clear water and slush efficiently, while wide circumferential grooves improve resistance to aquaplaning. High-density siping creates extra biting edges for traction on compacted snow and for shorter braking on cold, damp surfaces. The tread is shaped to spread pressure more evenly across the contact patch, supporting stable cornering and consistent steering feel without making the ride overly harsh. For heavier vehicles, an SUV variant uses a more robust construction to better handle higher loads.

In independent European winter tyre tests, this tyre has regularly achieved strong “recommended” results for balanced winter performance.
