The Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D is a winter tyre with a design featuring a three-zone system. This design addresses different winter surface concerns, whether they be snowy, wet, or dry. The centre zone incorporates Dunlop’s 3D Sipe System with closely spaced slits that behave as biting edges and assist with braking and steering. A slush and water clearing directional pattern design is coupled with a silca-Plus Compound that retains flexibility down to about 7 °C.

In addition, Dunlop offers run-flat and self-supporting tyres to assist vehicles after a loss of tyre pressure. The SP Winter Sport 4D replaced the 3D Sport Winter. The SP Winter Sport 4D incorporates a revised winter tread pattern. Tyres.co.uk offers the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D and the models SP Winter Sport 4D and XL.

These are Winter Tyres. I have just driven from the UK to Germany and back again and some of the roads were very icy. They are louder than summer tyres and seem to use 10% more fuel. However, in the cold, they provide much better grip.
