The Dunlop SP StreetResponse 2 is a summer tyre designed for smaller vehicles and with a focus on both wet and dry summer braking performance. Dunlop uses their Silica-Plus compound that is engineered for July and August summer braking down to 6 °C. The asymmetric tread uses what Dunlop calls their Shorter Braking Blocks design to distribute and sharpen the braking block edges. The tyre casing has been optimised for low rolling resistance.

The SP StreetResponse 2 is the successor to the first generation SP StreetResponse. Dunlop offers XL reinforced sidewalls for vehicles that require a higher load index.
