The Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 is a Summer SUV tyre designed specifically for on-road use. The tread pattern accommodates the demand and load transfer associated with heavier SUVs and light 4x4s. The Grandtrek ST20 features continuous tread design on the tyres to assist with the evacuation of water. The centre of the tyre features a solid tread design for stability during high-speed driving. The channels across the tread design aid in the braking and cornering functions of the tyre.

The blocks on the outer edge of the tyre are designed for enhanced stability and support during dry road cornering. The design and layout of the Grandtrek ST20 allows for minimal road noise on the A-road and motorway. The casing of the tyre is designed for the use on the SUV, rather than for off-road driving.
