The Dunlop Econodrive is an advanced summer van tyre specifically designed for maximum durability on long-distance, fully loaded journeys. Dunlop’s Long Life Tread Compound gives the Econodrive protection against tread wear and lowers the tyre’s rolling resistance. The tyre’s 4 Rib tread design promotes an even distribution of weight across the tyre for even wear over long distances. The Econodrive features deep, longitudinal grooves that remove the water film from the road, with outer edge tread blocks designed for loaded braking and steering.

Dunlop Econodrive features a reinforced tyre carcass for added strength against the loads of commercial vehicles, and reinforced sidewalls keep the tread protected from kerbing during delivery runs. The tread design is useful for a commercial van that features a combination of long distance, high speed driving, and break-intensive delivery driving. These tyres have so far exceeded my expectations. They have a firm grip on the road, regardless if the surface of the road is wet or dry. Since I fitted these tyres, I have also seen a minor increase in fuel economy.
