The asymmetric tread pattern of the Continental WinterContact TS 810 S separates functions for traction in snow and for the water clearance. The outside blocks provide the shoulder for cornering while the open inner section removes water using the roundel grooves. The slits on the tread provide snow traction. The rubber provides flexibility on the low winter temperatures. The pattern can optimally work on the cold and wet roads.

The WinterContact TS 830 P succeeded the WinterContact TS 810 S and is yet another performance winter tyre from Continental. It features the M+S and 3PMSF markings which signify the tyre has met the snow grip regulation. At Tyres.co.uk, you can find the Continental WinterContact TS 810 S.

I just completed a full winter season driving on these tyres and I can say that they have certainly exceeded my expectations. Ice road grip is top tier and they give me confidence to drive in more challenging situations to test the limit of my comfort. The fitters did an excellent job at getting the tyres to balance and I've noticed no high speed vibrations which is a positive. Overall great driving experience and I would recommend these tyres for winter driving.

I have never felt better control over icy roads than I do with these tyres. I have also never experienced better traction on snowy hills, these tyres do not slip at all. Wet roads do not cause these tyres to slip either, unlike my previous tyres and I have noticed slight improvements in fuel economy, which is surprising considering they are winter tyres. Even after several weeks of use, the durability of these tyres is promising.
