The Continental VanContact Camper A/S is designed for the weight and the height associated with camper vans and motor homes with an all seasons tread pattern. To enhance the comfort of these vehicles, the Camper A/S features a side wall with a strengthened carcass, which also protects the tyre from damage caused by rough camping surfaces and by hitting the kerb, and facilitates an even consumption of tread across the surface.

The new tyres are fine but I don't suggest buying them from the garage. One of the tyres I got was already over two years old so it would have to be replaced within three years. This is a problem because motorhomes change tyres based on age and not mileage. The garage says their policy allows them to sell 'new' tyres that are up to five years old.

The difference between the old seasonal tyres, which are the same make as these tyres, and these new ones, is outstanding. I feel a better grip and stability which leads me to believe they are less likely to slip.
