Product description & features

The Continental SportContact 7 is a summer performance tyre. Having developed these characteristics into a different tyre for vehicles of varying weights and power levels, Continental are adept at responding to market needs. The tread pattern is designed for summer conditions, but with rain and wet roads in mind and coupled with an asymmetric Adaptive Pattern, the outer tread blocks link for cornering, the inner section employs a more open design to deal with water.

Constantly Flexible is a rubber compound designed by Continental, with lateral and vertical grooves, which helps the rubber to conform to road surfaces.

The SportContact 7 is the 7th iteration to replace the SportContact 6. Compared to the SportContact 6, Continental says that the SportContact 7 has less braking distance, a maximum improvement of 8% in the wet and 6% in the dry and an impressive increase of 17% in the tyre lifespan.

We offer the SportContact 7 with the added benefit of noise cancelling technology, ContiSilent. We stock the SportContact 7 at Tyres.co.uk.

Tyre review for Continental Sport Contact 7 295/35R21 103Y
Unless you're driving quite aggressively, they handle well even in the rain. The road noise is alright and I have not seen any performance dip even after 6000 miles.

Tyre review for Continental Sport Contact 7 295/35R21 103Y
I have put Continental tyres on my BMW M235i Gran Coupe and it has changed the way the car feels on the road. It has excellent grip when driving in dry or wet situations, which is essential for the strength of this car. They give me a lot of confidence when driving in the rain and I experience a lot less wheel spin when accelerating compared to other tyres I have had. I have noticed an improvement in braking response, cornering is much tighter, and I have better steering feedback. Despite being high-performance tyres, they are quite comfortable and quiet. There is little road noise when driving on the motorway and despite the road noise, it is stable when going around corners at high speed. The wear is also consistent and is worth the money. If you want to be able to use the full power of your car safely, I'd recommend you get Continental tyres. They have an exceptional grip and control along with great comfort.
