Tyre review for Continental Sport Contact 7 265/40R21 101Y
Whether you're driving hard or going for a more upmarket feel, the tyres are brilliant. They are a little more comfortable than the Michelin PS4S tyres, but you won't feel any difference in a sporting context and are usually cheaper. They are much softer in the sidewall compared to the Michelin, and I find that I have to pump them up to about 3 bar in the car to keep the handling nice and sharp, but that doesn't affect the comfort. Two small complaints: I wish they would last longer than 18-20,000 miles, but I have to think that the weight and power of the car (heavy, 4WD/4WS, > 500 hp) plays a role in this. They do get quite loud on the concrete surface of the M25 south-west stretch, but that is the only surface where I find them noisy.
