The Continental SportContact 7 is a summer performance tyre. Having developed these characteristics into a different tyre for vehicles of varying weights and power levels, Continental are adept at responding to market needs. The tread pattern is designed for summer conditions, but with rain and wet roads in mind and coupled with an asymmetric Adaptive Pattern, the outer tread blocks link for cornering, the inner section employs a more open design to deal with water.

Constantly Flexible is a rubber compound designed by Continental, with lateral and vertical grooves, which helps the rubber to conform to road surfaces.

The SportContact 7 is the 7th iteration to replace the SportContact 6. Compared to the SportContact 6, Continental says that the SportContact 7 has less braking distance, a maximum improvement of 8% in the wet and 6% in the dry and an impressive increase of 17% in the tyre lifespan.

Exceptional performance in both dry and wet conditions. Even grip loss is confidence inspiring. Stopping power and forward drive (with or without wheel spin) is excellent. I would buy them again, and prefer them over the MPS4S and GY Eagle F1 AS6. I have previously had the AS6, and these tyres were obviously better than them. Admittedly, that could be because they fall into different categories and the proper comparison should be made against the GY SS. They fit my W204 C63 very well, but I can't comment on other vehicles.

They handle the road exceptionally in wet weather conditions. I own a BMW 430d and my previous tyres had always been terrible in the rain. Changing to these has been a huge difference.
