The CrossContact LX2 by Continental is a summer tyre designed for light off-road use with an emphasis on asphalt for SUVs and 4x4s. The tread is split into 4 longitudinal sections for the removal of water and designed for lateral support of the vehicle when cornering. A flat profile helps support even loading for improved tread wear. Additional short braking edges and reduced road noise are features of the central ribs and the tread design, respectively.
The CrossContact LX2 is the successor to the CrossContact LX. Some variations in the model include a patented ContiSilent technology in which a sound absorbing foam is incorporated into the tyre. The CrossContact LX2 is also available in a reinforced construction for 4x4s and SUVs of a heavier class. We at Tyres.co.uk offer the CrossContact LX2 with the ContiSilent option.
