The Turanza T005 is Bridgestone’s premium summer touring tyre. It focuses on everyday wet braking performance. Bridgestone uses their NanoPro-Tech to dissipate damp road performance. The T005 uses silica, and its asymmetric tread blocks contain water route High Angle Sipes (H.A.S.) along with directional edges that create grooves to help remove water and damp road tarmac. There are large outer edge blocks to help steering.

The T005 replaced the T001, and Bridgestone claims it performs better by stopping up to 2m sooner. They released that number around the T005’s 2018 launch. The T005’s sidewall has an XL, which can be seen on the sidewall, meaning it has an additional reinforced sidewall. Tyres.co.uk has the T005 in stock including the additional XL versions.

The tyre performs well and is still quiet on the motorway. No issues with braking performance. Assessment of wear and tear will be done later. This tyre isn't the RFT (Run Flat Tyre) version, so look carefully when buying. If you need the RFT version of the Turanza T005, make sure to choose that one.
