Product description & features

The Turanza 6 from Bridgestone is a summer tyre for touring designed for temperatures above 7 degrees centigrade with a focus on wet braking. It also features Bridgestone’s ENLITEN technology for reduced rolling resistance. High angle sipes are large and diagonal to give additional braking edges on wet roads. A high silica compound gives grip on wet roads and gives a wear advantage. The blocks have sloping edges which helps distribute pressure during rubber wear.

The Turanza 6 was released in 2023 and replaces the Turanza T005. Bridgestone claims the new tyre gives 22% more mileage with a 2% reduction in rolling resistance compared to the T005. The new tyre also receives an A rating for wet grip in every size and a B or C rating for fuel efficiency depending on the size. The Turanza 6 from Bridgestone, including the B-Seal self sealing versions, can be found at Tyres.co.uk.

Highlights

  • Summer touring tyre for above 7°C

Tyre review for Bridgestone Turanza 6 225/45R18 95W XL
Fitted two on my 320 msport and noise has reduced significantly, the car feels solidly planted when handling even in sport mode and the tyres perform better than expected. Fuel economy is excellent, a definite buy.

I'm pleased with the rated grip on cornering. So far, these tyres seem to match their label ratings.

Tyre review for Bridgestone Turanza 6 225/45R18 95W XL
They're definitely quieter than the last set I bought. The grip feels pretty solid. I'm yet to really put them to the test though.
